After succesfull sports photography workshops in the Netherlands, it's time for the next step. A 2,5 day workshop packed with downhill mountain bike photo opportunities. Not only will we cover the action sports, but we will also add lifestyle & portrait photography to cover the needs of a commercial or editorial photoshoot.

The entire workshop will take place at the beautiful world cup bikepark of Leogang in Austria. Sports photography shot against a pristine alpine background.

Time Friday from 16.00 - 21.00, Saturday from 7.30 - 21.00 and Sunday from 8.30 - 16.00

16.00 - 21.00
We arrive at the lodge and start with a workshop introduction. After that it's dinner time. Getting to know everybody. After dinner we talk trough the basicsof sports photography and prepare for the early session on saturday morning.


7.30 - 21.00
We start early on saturday to get as much as possible out of our hopefully sunny morning. We go up the mountain to shoot on several locations. On every location there is a quick walktrough and plenty of time to shoot. Direct feedback from the instructors on location.
After dinner, we get together for a thorough feedback session on today's pictures.


8.30 - 16.00
On Sunday, we add flash to the equation. How can we benefit from the usage of flash and wat are the pitfalls. We go out on the mountains to shoot action, lifestyle and portraits.
After a late lunch, we once more reflect on the pictures taken that morning and finish the workshop.


This workshop is targeted at the intermediate / advanced photographer.
Knowledge of your camera, camera settings and metering. 
Dslr with lenses to cover different focal lengths.
The focus of the workshop is shooting downhill mountainbike, (s)portraits and lifestyle pictures. Our goal is to make a set of images ready for editorial or commercial use.
